Children Ministry

The children ministry at Springfield Baptist Church is a launching pad for nurturing the faith of the next generation. We want to partner with parents to build a foundation for Christ in their homes and the lives of their children. The purpose of the children ministry is to teach your kids the foundational truths of God’s word, guide them to the path of salvation, disciple them once they have made the commitment to follow Christ and show them how to share their faith with others.

Wednesdays

Bible Study - 6:00 PM

 Sundays

Sunday School - 9:30AM

Children’s Worship - 10:45AM

(kids are dismissed from sanctuary during large group worship)

SAFETY: Our first priority is to create a safe environment for you and your child. It is a place where they can be who they are and be safe physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

THE WORD OF GOD: We are committed to providing each child with a solid understanding of what God has shown us through the Bible. At the center of everything we do is the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

FRIENDSHIP: If there is one thing we can learn from God’s Word, it’s that we need one another. We cannot make it alone. Through small group classes and plenty of group activities, we hope that each child will develop godly friendships that will last a lifetime.

SERVICE: We want your kids to know what it means to follow the example of Christ and serve others. Our commitment is to equip kids to live out their faith through a life of service. We put others' needs ahead of our own by giving time and resources to each other, to our community and to the world. 

FAMILY CENTERED: We are committed to partnering with families to raise the next generation. It is too big a challenge for anyone to accomplish alone. We believe that if the home and church unite under one cause, we can reach our children for Jesus in a way we never could alone.
